Wedding Venue

The Victory Hall is a totally unique function venue in one of Sussex’s finest village offering seating for up to 165 people with plenty of parking.

The Victory Hall is situated in the picturesque village of Balcombe and yet only a five minute walk from the mainline train station with its excellent service from London (40 minutes) and Brighton (20 minutes), so there is no need for guests to drive.

You can book the Hall using as many or as few of our services available or should you wish, the Reception can be a complete DIY arrangement.

The Hall comes with a stage for your evening entertainment or DJ & Disco . Alternatively you can connect MP3 player or smart phone to our PA system and play your own party music for free! This facility  is often used during the meal when background music is required.

Some wedding receptions have been arranged so that the ‘Top table’ is located on the stage.

We can be offer  the adjoining Forest Room with separate tables and seating up to 40 people. This room is ideal for a separate buffet area or a quiet place to talk and catch up with the family, away from the hustle of the main Hall. Within this room we can operate a dedicated licensed bar for the function. Beyond this room there is a small pretty garden area ideal for photographs or just sitting outside having a quick cigarette !

The adjacent social club can provide reception arrival drinks, wines during the meal and your guests may use the clubs bar facility as either a pay bar or you can set an amount for a free bar for your guests.

We can provide full catering and provide drinks from our fully Licensed Bar. Alternatively you are welcome to make your own arrangement using outside caterers and supply your own drinks on the proviso that you do not sell drinks to guests.

 

Dependent on your budget, and the number of guests attending the Hall can be arranged and decorated in many different ways.
